A FRESH WIND OF REVIVAL
Thursday night was the third city (Cardiff, the capitol of Wales) and sixth meeting on a ten city tour of the UK. The Holy Spirit has been very strong in every meeting. A fresh wind of the Spirit of Revival has been almost overwhelming to many in each of the meetings. In every service people are being changed, healed, baptized in the Holy Ghost, delivered and set free. Souls are being won! The “gifts” are flowing and the presence of God is real. Tears of joy are common throughout the congregation. Pastor Henry’s message of getting back to the ministry of Jesus is powerfully effecting the churches and the leaders. As they experience it in the meetings the hope and expectation of an uncommon move of God is deposited as “fruit that remains.” So far every church has invited them to return.
BURYING THE DRY BONE
Friday night (last night) was also explosive. The city was Merthyr–Tydfil, the church was Bethania Chapel. The large old stone church was built in 1824. During the 1904 revival the presiding Pastor rejected Evan Roberts and the move of God. But today a “different spirit” is at the helm. Pastor Baython Davies, who attended the leaders meeting last Saturday morning in Newport, and after hearing Pastor Henry speak, immediately asked the Falanys to come and make a deposit of revival in the old church. When they arrived he gave them freedom to do anything God showed them. The people, including the pastor, were very stiff. At first they appeared unmoveable. Most of the packed house (the largest attendance in recent history) was in their 60s to 80s. The Holy Spirit showed Pastor Henry what to do and what to speak. The Lord poured out exhortations and encouragements. He encouraged the people to let the chains of restriction to break and fall off of them .. to see themselves as vessels of the Holy Spirit and power .. river channels of the Love of God flowing into others lives .. to step out and be free in the Spirit. Then the Pastor came up and confessed his own stiffness and scepticisms .. shortly after that something broke and most of the church was running the isles and around the sanctuary shouting praises to God. People were worshipping with flags for the first time and giving thanks to God. A fresh Spirit of freedom swept through the congregation. People were then healed and delivered and set free.
The Pastor then testified that there was a femur bone behind the pulpit. It had been there for years and he wouldn’t bury it until the dryness and deadness was gone from his church. He announced last night that he was burying the dry bone today! With great expectation and excitement in the air the Falanys were invited to return to their church.
Please continue to pray for the UK. We claim Britain for the kingdom of God!
